St. Laurence is a church in Reading with a particular vision for young people. We meet in a wonderfully re-ordered twelfth century church building, and seek to be a multi-generational community which lives out the good news of the Kingdom with and among young people of the town.


Easter 2018: What's Happening?

March 29th - Maundy Thursday

Meal at 5:30pm followed by a re-telling of the story and sharing bread and wine.
Then straight into Sanctuary at 8pm, an opportunity to worship and pray together as a community.

March 30th - Good Friday

10.30am -1.30pm children’s art morning and lunch
1.45pm - children’s film begins
2pm - an hour of art, poems and maybe even music reflecting on Jesus’ last hours
6.30pm - Good Friday Night Extra

March 31st - Holy Saturday

6pm - a service with silence, music and reflections as Jesus lies dead in the tomb. 

1st April - Easter Day

8.30am - garden service at the Macleod’s (see our Facebook group for the address)

2pm - Baptism Service -  Baptisms are joy giving events. It will put the resurrection (Holy) Spirit in you.
