Praying together this Advent

This Advent, we'd love to encourage everyone at Saint Laurence to make a little room for prayer as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus. This year, we're joining thousands of others around the world using Lectio 365 and their Share Advent Together series.

Lectio 365 is a free app offering daily, Bible guided prayers that you can listen to or read in your own time. This year's Advent journey explores hospitality, thinking about how we make room for Jesus and one another, before moving into the ancient prayers of the Great O Antiphons.

Whether you already use Lectio 365 or are completely new to it, why not join us? You could make it part of your daily routine, or perhaps invite a friend or someone from church to pray through Advent together and share what God is saying to you.

Let's use this season to slow down, draw closer to Jesus and make space for him in our lives.
